Orthodontics

We provide high-quality orthodontic services for children and adults with problems with their bite:

  • Anomalies of the teeth or jaw system
  • Functional disorders
  • Aesthetic deviations

We recommend the first visit to the orthodontist between the ages of 7 and 8. At this age, children have both baby teeth and permanent teeth in their mouths, and the orthodontist can monitor the eruption of the teeth and the development of the jaws. Some dental problems are easier to treat before all permanent teeth erupt.

During the first visit, the orthodontist examines the condition of the patient’s mouth and explains the treatment options. After the patient’s decision to start the treatment, the orthodontist performs examinations: X-rays, photographs and diagnostic models. The approximate cost of the treatment is calculated before starting the treatment. The final price is formed according to the complexity and duration of the treatment.

Orthodontic treatment is for a fee, but in case of severe diagnoses, persons under the age of 19 can receive orthodontic treatment as a service paid for by the Health Insurance Fund. More information is available in the regulation of the Government of the Republic. The appointment fee is €5.
